Day 1: Water Play 玩水

You can hang up different canvases (paper, plastic, cardboard etc) using pegs and invite your child to drop diluted food colouring on the top of it to see the movement of water colour flowing down. You can take the chance to introduce terms such as "moving fast, slow" bringing attention to the mixing of colours if any.

Encourage your child how to create more bubbles by swishing his/her hands in the water with soap.

Explore with materials provided by encouraging your child transfer the water from one container to another, or create more bubbles.

Bubble blowing art
Place a piece of paper above the cup as child blows into the solution of water, food colouring and soap. Bubbles will create a pattern on paper. Ask your child which is their favourite colour and which would they like to work on again?
