ETM Leases Privacy Policy

ETM Leases is a marketplace that helps users find and post sublease and lease-takeover opportunities.
Information We Collect
When you create or use an ETM Leases account, we may collect information you provide, including your email address, display name, listings, listing descriptions, rental information, listing photos, saved listings, messages, reports, and blocked-user information.
Listings may include location information such as a city or neighborhood. ETM Leases may generate approximate map coordinates from this information so listings can appear on the map. Exact apartment addresses are not required for the public map.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate ETM Leases, create and display listings, provide search and map results, allow users to save listings, enable communication between users, maintain accounts, prevent misuse, investigate reports, and provide support.
Messages
Messages sent through ETM Leases are stored so participants can access their conversations. Messages may also be relevant when investigating reports of abuse, scams, threats, or other violations of our marketplace rules.
Reports and Blocking
Users can report listings, users, and conversations. Users can also block other users. Information submitted through these features may be stored and used to investigate misuse and enforce marketplace rules.
Data Storage and Service Providers
ETM Leases uses third-party infrastructure providers, including Supabase, for services such as account authentication, database storage, file storage, and other backend functionality necessary to operate the app.
Information Visible to Other Users
Information you intentionally include in a public listing may be visible to other users of ETM Leases. Messages are intended to be visible only to participants in the conversation.
Sale of Personal Information
ETM Leases does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account from within the ETM Leases app by going to Profile → Account Settings → Delete My Account.
Account deletion removes your account and associated marketplace data according to the app’s deletion process, including listings and listing photos associated with your account.
Data Security
ETM Leases uses reasonable technical measures and third-party infrastructure services to protect account and marketplace information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
ETM Leases is not intended for children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ETM Leases changes or adds features. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
