B. The 5 Pillars (Sensitive Data)

To utilize our "Mizane" (Balance) matching algorithm effectively, we collect highly sensitive preference and background data, secured and gated within your profile vault:

• Economic Status

• Educational Background

• Intellectual Interests

• Religious/Philosophical Beliefs

• Sexual & Romantic Preferences

C. Location Data

We collect precise and coarse location data to power our matching algorithm and show you potential connections nearby.

D. Media & Photos

We collect and store photos you upload for your profile.

E. Usage Data & Device Information

We collect data regarding your interactions with the app, device information (such as OS version, device model), and advertising data via Google Analytics for Firebase and Google AdMob.

F. Payment Data

Premium subscriptions (e.g., 49 MAD / 29 MAD) are processed securely via Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchases. We do not collect or store your credit card information. All payment processing is handled directly by Google or Apple.

3. Use of Device Permissions

To provide our core dating experience, Ethical Dating requests the following device permissions:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Required to accurately determine your location and connect you with compatible users in Morocco and beyond through our "Mizane" matching engine.

• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Required to access your device gallery so you can upload and manage your profile photos.

• CAMERA: Required so you can take new profile photos directly within the app or send live photos in chat.

• RECORD_AUDIO / Microphone: Required to allow you to record and send voice messages in chat.

• AD_ID (Advertising ID): Used by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) to serve personalized and relevant advertisements.

• BLUETOOTH_CONNECT: Used to handle wireless audio devices during voice features.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with essential third-party service providers to operate the app:

• Firebase / Google Cloud: Used for secure database hosting, real-time messaging, and app performance analytics.

• Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements within the app. AdMob may utilize your Advertising ID to display relevant ads.

• Google Play / App Store: Used to facilitate secure subscription payments.

5. Security

We protect the "Spirit of Connection" by implementing robust, modern security measures. Your sensitive "5 Pillars" data is gated behind an encrypted Secure Vault requiring local authentication. We utilize secure socket layer technology (SSL) and Google Firebase encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

Data Deletion Request: You have the right to request the complete deletion of your data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app's settings menu (Profile > Settings > Delete Account).

External Deletion Request: If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you may request full data deletion by emailing us at yansin@mail.com. We will process your request and remove all personal information from our servers within 30 days.

7. Children’s Privacy & Child Safety (CSAE)

Ethos Dating is strictly restricted to individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

• Zero Tolerance Policy: Ethos Dating has a zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We strictly prohibit the creation, upload, or distribution of any content that exploits or endangers children.

• Monitoring and Action: We utilize automated tools and manual moderation to detect and remove Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

• Reporting: If we become aware of a minor using the app or any content violating child safety standards, we will take immediate steps to delete such data, terminate the account, and—where required by law—report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or relevant local authorities.

1. Respectful Conduct & Community Standards

Ethos Dating is built on the foundation of substance, character, and respect. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:

• Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any user who posts, shares, or promotes content that exploits or endangers children (including CSAM) will be permanently banned immediately and reported to law enforcement and NCMEC.

• Harassment & Illegal Content: Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or sharing explicit, non-consensual, or illegal content.

• Reporting Mechanism: Users can report any suspicious or prohibited behavior directly within the app via the "Report User" feature or by emailing yansin@mail.com. We review all reports within 24 hours.

You agree to treat all matches with kindness and integrity.

2. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ethos Dating. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms of Use or engage in behavior that compromises the safety, integrity, or inclusivity of our community.

4. Subscriptions

Ethos Dating offers premium subscription tiers. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions through your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings.
