Before processing begins, users are informed that their image will be processed by EthnifyAI and authorized third-party AI service providers, and explicit user consent is obtained.

The image is securely transmitted through our processing infrastructure to authorized AI services.

The AI model processes the image and generates the requested ancestry portrait.

The generated result is returned to the user.

User-uploaded facial images are processed only for completing the requested AI generation task and are not retained after processing is completed.

Facial images are processed only when the user actively requests the AI generation feature.

2. AI Processing and Third-Party Services

2.1 AI Image Generation Service

To provide AI portrait generation functionality, EthnifyAI uses Alibaba Cloud DashScope AI services, including Alibaba Cloud Qwen/Wan AI image generation technology.

The models used may include:

• Wan2.7-image for AI portrait generation.

• Qwen3-VL-Flash for image understanding and image description generation.

When users request AI portrait generation, their uploaded facial image is securely transmitted to Alibaba Cloud DashScope AI services only for completing the requested generation task.

The AI services are not used to identify users, create biometric profiles, perform facial recognition, or train AI models using user-uploaded images.

2.2 Third-Party AI Service Provider Details

EthnifyAI uses trusted third-party AI infrastructure providers to provide AI-generated portrait functionality.

The third-party service involved includes:

Alibaba Cloud DashScope AI Service

Purpose:

AI image generation and image understanding processing.

Data processed:

• User-uploaded facial images provided voluntarily by users.

• AI generation requests required to create the requested portrait.

Purpose of processing:

• Generating personalized ancestry portraits.

• Providing AI image analysis and related generation results.

EthnifyAI only uses these services to fulfill user-requested AI features.

We do not sell, rent, or share user facial images for advertising, marketing, identity verification, facial recognition, or unrelated commercial purposes.

3. Facial Image Storage and Retention

EthnifyAI follows the principle of data minimization.

We do not retain user-uploaded facial images after completing the requested AI generation process.

Facial images are processed temporarily only for generating the requested AI portrait.

User facial images are:

• Not stored permanently in our database.

• Not maintained as facial recognition data.

• Not used to create biometric profiles.

• Not publicly shared.

Generated images are provided only for the user's personal entertainment experience.

Users are responsible for managing generated images saved to their own device.

EthnifyAI does not publicly display generated images without user permission.
