This privacy policy governs your use of the software application EthitecClinicalApp (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Ethitec.

The Application is used in conjunction with the ELMS2/Tiara9 system.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The application captures the following information

1)      User data inputs

2)      Images

3)      Geolocation data

EthitecClinicalApp obtains the information you provide on using the application. You will not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application unless the ELMS2/Tiara9 system is configured to enable that feature and the Application is configured for use with your ELMS2/Tiara9 system.

Data collected such as user inputs, images and geolocation are held in each site’s individual ELMS2/Tiara9 system.

Automatically Collected Information 

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to the IP address of your mobile device and information about the way you use the Application. Any such information may be accessible on your ELMS2/Tiara9 system.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The data stored in the ELMS2/Tiara9 system belongs to the service and we will not share your information with other third parties. The data is available via the ELMS2/Tiara9 mapping and routing screens and the external order document screens in ELMS2/Tiara9. Access to the data is controlled by your local ELMS2/Tiara9 system administrators.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The data will be retained for as long as you use the Application and for as long as your service uses the ELMS2/Tiara9 system. If you’d like us to delete data provided via the Application, please contact your local ELMS2/Tiara9 system administrator. Please note that some or all of the data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information held in the ELMS2/Tiara9 system. For example, access to this information is limited to authorized ELMS2/Tiara9 system users who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve their community service. Please be aware that, although we endeavour to provide reasonable security, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. 

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message. By using the Application, you are consenting to processing your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or accessing information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
