Hello! I'm Ethan Nikkel, a filmmaker and photographer from Carlsbad, California. While I may be just starting my journey in the world of visual storytelling, my love for the art of filmmaking and the influential power of photography is strong.

My adoration for filmmaking began with a short film that was the culmination of years of experience behind the camera, making short films for me and my family. Something that really inspires me about filmmaking is the immense effort and dedication required to craft a compelling narrative. I believe that stories have the power to change lives and influence people, and I'm determined to be a part of that transformation.

When I begin production on a project, my mission goes beyond entertainment. I aim to convey a message to the audience that challenges their perspective, leaving them with a lasting impression. I aspire to create experiences that resonate and endure in the minds of those who engage with my work; and with the people they interact with.

Other than filmmaking, I have a love for photography, particularly film photography and Polaroids. Music is another creative outlet for me, as I enjoy playing the guitar in my free time and the clarinet for my schools concert band. I'm also the photographer for my school's robotics team and contribute to the world of literature by being an editor for my best friend, Asher Warren; who is a published and accomplished author.
