Support the Ethan Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund

On October 5, 2023, the Brockport community lost a bright light. Ethan Ronald Miller, just 19 years old, passed away after a courageous battle with lymphoma. A graduate of Brockport High School, Ethan was studying History and Special Education at SUNY Brockport with dreams of becoming a teacher. His love of history, dedication to learning, and desire to help others made him a natural educator—someone who would have shaped lives with the same kindness and compassion he brought to everyone who knew him.

Ethan was not only a great student; he was a passionate athlete and a loyal son, brother, and friend. A lifelong soccer player, a tennis enthusiast, and a track runner, Ethan gave his all on the field, in the classroom, and in life. He loved reading, family trips, and peaceful days at his family cabin. Above all, Ethan was known for his gentle, loving heart, his quiet strength, and the joy he brought to others. He is deeply missed by family, friends, teammates, classmates, and everyone lucky enough to know him.

To carry Ethan’s spirit forward, the Ethan Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2023. This fund provides annual scholarships to graduating seniors at Brockport High School—students who, like Ethan, are driven by passion, kindness, and a desire to make a difference. 

In partnership with Brockport Soccer Boosters, Ethan's family is hosting the Ethan Miller Memorial Golf Tournament—a day of community, remembrance, and generosity- to ensure this scholarship continues to support future generations.
