Ethan Cheung first started out his musical journey since 2017 at the age of 12 and has a become a very accomplished musician at such a young age. He has played in both in both the Dublin High school wind and jazz ensemble playing bass clarinet , earned a superior award at the cmea golden empire solo festival in 2023, and even played in the pre-professional group East Bay Jazz High-School All Stars.
Currently, Ethan Cheung is studying at San Jose state with a major in music education, with an emphasis on studying saxophone under the great Dr. Micheal Hernandez He is currently playing in their symphonic band, Marching band, sax orchestra and is apart of the saxophone quintet the Elegy Quartet. On top of that he is starting to give private lessons on saxophone to help pass on the knowledge that was given to him by Dr. Micheal Hernandez.
