The European Tournament of Enthusiastic Apprentice Mathematicians (ETEAM) is a team competition for high school students to get a taste of mathematical research. Teams of up to six students work collaboratively to solve open-ended mathematical questions over several months, after which they submit written reports of their own work, produce written reviews of other teams' work, deliver oral presentations based on their reports, and engage in discussions based on the presentations from other teams and questions from a panel of mathematicians.
