FreePPEKC

When the COVID-19 pandemic closed schools in the area, I got to work with a friend of mine on building a nonprofit called FreePPEKC, focused around supplying healthcare facilities and workers in the KC Metro area with necessary PPE, be it face shields, ear savers, or door openers. We worked hard to assemble an infrastructure of over 22 volunteer printers and a team of 5 people with great skill sets in hopes to help as many people in need as possible. This included working heavily with the implementation of crowdfunding into the program, using mediums like GoFundMe to propel our campaign in the right direction, raising over $7,500. Those efforts culminated into a point where I can proudly say that today, we've delivered over 8,000 face shields, ear savers, touchless door openers and face shields to healthcare workers all across the US, from California to Colorado to New York.

PIRL

PIRL (Play. In. Real. Life.) is an event hosting/discovery app. Its purpose is to help people meet each other through a shared map of events going on in your area. that I prototyped on Figma in order to teach myself UI/UX design principles. The link to the prototype is below.

Baja Berkeley

Baja SAE is a student competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Competition season comes towards the end of the winter semester. Each team competes with their new cars in a variety of dynamic events including an endurance race, maneuverability course, sled pull, hill climb, acceleration event, and more! Cars also compete in a variety of static events including design judging, sales presentation, cost report, and others.

Baja Berkeley is a newly formed automotive engineering team at the University of California, Berkeley. We will compete in the Baja SAE offroad-engineering competition starting in the fall of 2022.
