I am interested in pursuing a career in chemical engineering. I have always wanted to be an engineer, and the field of chemistry has recently piqued my interest. I decided to pursue this career because doing chemical experiments, such as elephant toothpaste as a little kid, was always really fun for me. My fascination with creating things, problem-solving skills, and helping people in need has led me down this path since elementary school, and that's when I decided this career field was correct for me.
In high school, I have completed two AP classes, and I am currently taking four additional AP classes. These include AP Pre-Calc, AP Calc AB, Honors Chem, and AP Physics. These support my career path by giving me a strong foundation in math and science. I have also maintained a GPA of 4.0 or higher throughout my academic career. I have learned how to do case studies in this engineering class, which will help me analyze problems I will have to solve in my future education and career.
I have played baseball my whole life, this has taught me how to be a great team player, lead by example, being able to perform under pressure, and never quit when things get hard. Some activities I have done outside of school that will help me in my future career are that I like to do experiments, and I like to help people who are in need. Which is something I hope to do by creating new medicines. I am currently employed at Little Caesars, and it has taught me how to work well with others.
After I graduate from high school, I plan to attend a four-year university. As well as get an apprenticeship through the tech center. My plan will be subject to change and is not set in stone and I will continue my education throughout my life.
After achieving my career goals, I hope to give back to my community by being a role model and contributing to events that connect the community. I will affect the society I live in by being a kind, generous role model. When I obtain my dream I will impact the world by creating new medicines that will bring people back to good health. I hope that the work I do in my future career will have a positive impact on the world by allowing the sick to be well again.
