• Enter Semester Number: Input the numerical value of the semester you want to calculate or update (e.g., 1, 2, 3) in the first field.

• Choose Configuration Method: Select "Course Breakdown" if you want to calculate your SPI using individual course details. Select "Direct SPI Entry" if you already know your final semester indices and want to skip course-by-course logging.

• Process Course Breakdown: If you choose this method, enter your total number of subjects and click "Continue". Fill in the allocated credits and choose the achieved letter grade (A*=10, A=10, B+=9, B=8, C+=7, C=6, D+=5, D=4, F=0) for each course row.

• Process Direct SPI Entry: If you choose this method, click "Continue" and directly enter your final "Semester SPI Value" (0.00 to 10.00) along with the "Total Credits" registered for that term.

• Save and Trigger Celebration: Click "Calculate & Save" or "Save Metrics" to log your entry. The system will automatically update the summary table, calculate your overall CPI, and launch a 7-second balloon emoji celebration animation.

• Modify or Overwrite Data: If you make a mistake, simply enter the exact same semester number again, fill in the correct details, and submit to instantly overwrite the older record.

• Review Cumulative Progress Index (CPI): View your overall progress at the bottom dashboard. The tool automatically calculates your cumulative index using a precise credit-weighted formula across all active semesters: Formula: 

CPI = Sum of (SPI × Semester Credits) ÷ Total Cumulative Credits

• Manage Session Memory: Please note down your final data before closing the page. The application runs entirely in your local web browser for complete privacy, meaning refreshing or closing the browser tab will reset the calculator memory.
