In 1950, Tibet was invaded by China. Since then, the Communist Party has participated in a cleansing of Tibetan culture, demolished countless monasteries, and engaged in a genocide of over 500,000 Tibetans, especially during the 1959 Tibetan Uprisings, in which the Dalai Lama was forced to leave the country. Tibetans are not even allowed to learn their own language anymore. The Panchen Lama, whose job it is to find the next Dalai Lama, mysteriously "disappeared," and the Chinese Communist Party has found a fake substitute in his place. This means that there may not be a 15th Dalai Lama. The CCP has flooded the country with Chinese citizens, to make it even harder for Tibet to break away from the Party and return to freedom once again. The CCP has also split Tibet into several regions, and the so-called "Tibet Autonomous Region" is only a fraction of what Tibet actually is. They are exploiting Tibet's abundance in natural resources and strategic location (after all, Tibet is the source of many of Asia's major rivers, and has many mineral deposits), and do not care about the Tibetan people. Tibet is a country which has been illegally occupied by China. It is clear that the CCP has no right in this land, and the Tibetans have been brutally oppressed for too long. Let's Free Tibet now!
"I am confident I will set foot again in Tibet in my lifetime."

Taiwan is an independent sovereign country. It has its own government, a permanent population, and a defined territory. We also have our own currency, an independent economy, an independent foreign policy, as well as a separate military. Moreover, in the Treaty of San Francisco, Japan did not cede Taiwan to China. China has absolutely no reasonable justification for claiming Taiwan. When Chiang Kai Shek, an authoritarian Chinese fascist dictator, came to Taiwan in 1949, he took control of the government, slaughtered much of the population, brought in martial law, and prevented us from speaking anything from Mandarin. This abomination of a man was never the first president of Taiwan, just a malicious figure on the throne who had no business being there. The Taiwanese have suffered through decades of authoritarianism through Chiang Kai Shek and the Kuomintang. We do not need another era of dictatorship in the country. We do not need a repeat of Tiananmen, or of 228. Taiwan has fought its way to a free society, and we are not going back.
I understand that Taiwan has a lot for China to be envious of: Breathtakingly spectacular landscapes (there's a reason why Portugal named Taiwan "Ilha Formosa"), freedom of speech, less pollution than China, friendly people, a higher standard of living, and being the most liberal (and best) country in Asia, among many, many other things. But just because you admire a country does not mean that you can invade it and claim it as your own. And it does not mean that China can vent their frustration on us like an immature toddler, and prevent the country of Taiwan from participating in international bodies such as the United Nations or the World Health Organization, or only allow us to participate in other international events such as the Olympics as "Chinese Taipei." We are Taiwanese, not Chinese. Taiwan is Taiwan, and there is nothing China can do to change that.
Joshua Wong, Nathan Law, and others like them are supporting democratization efforts in Hong Kong, but are being opposed by the brutal regime in Beijing. It is ridiculous and heartbreaking to see good people like them be arrested for talking bad about the Chinese government. "One Country, Two Systems" was always destined to fail, and China has set HK back by generations. The Chinese Communist Party's incompetence is causing the Chinese to move to Hong Kong in droves, but this is also putting a huge strain on the city. It is also slowly wiping out Hong Kong's culture, and gives the Chinese government even more of an excuse for their slow and indirect invasion of Hong Kong. The British had started to introduce democracy to the city-state, but this all changed with the arrival of the Chinese government. The Chief Executive of Hong Kong, such as Carrie Lam or previously CY Leung, are simply puppets of the Beijing government, and do not represent Hong Kongers, as they were not voted into power by the people.

Macau has had its freedom trampled on by the Chinese Communist Party. Although Macau has a failing "One Country, Two Systems" policy similar to that of its neighbour Hong Kong, opposition here is even less vocal and well-known. In many ways, Macau
Don't support an extremist government in this area. Instead, support an independent, peaceful, and democratic government in the Tarim Basin area. Participating in terrorism only gives Beijing an excuse to crack down harder on Xinjiang and murder more people.
The vast majority of people in East Turkestan/Xinjiang/Tarim Basin are peaceful, but the Chinese government is using their Muslim faith as an excuse to target them. Make no mistake, this is a classic example of ethnic cleansing, and is based on an extremely inaccurate stereotype. However, violent retaliation towards China allows their corrupt and barbaric practices to continue, and is detrimental towards Uyghur rights and/or independence.
