Resolving Mental Attributes of Cyberbullying (RMAC) was established with the intention of giving the youth access to a safer online environment. With the rise of modernization, various abusers are entering the frame, causing traumatic experiences for those affected. The objectives of this organization are to assist cyberbullying victims, educate the youth towards the greater internet good, and prevent the emergence of cyberbullies by providing sufficient information about the consequences of internet abuse.
The team who makes up the RMAC believes that action can cause a change and that change will start with us. The organization aims to lessen the number of cyberbullying incidents in the institution, allowing its student to function satisfactorily without carrying mental burdens from the internet.
With the rise of ICT users in this generation, various misconducts have been developed due to the abuse of the internet by individuals who lack proper netiquette. Due to these circumstances, an alarming rate of victims who claimed to have experienced cyberbullying, abuse, and harassment became the spotlight of attention because of their unresolved trauma, especially those who have experienced it in their institutions. Resolving Mental Attributes of Cyberbullying (RMAC) is a project that brings aid to the victim’s doorstep, allowing them to have the opportunity to heal from their experience with the assistance of a professional therapist. We are aware that not all people, especially students, have the financial capability to seek help, making this project available for those in need. This project aims to provide a reassuring future, away from abusers of the internet.
The main motive of this project is to assist the victims of cyberbullying by offering consultations from professional therapists within the institution. The project is worth sponsoring for it enables those who are deprived of seeking professional help due to the lack of financial capability. The project allows the victims to heal from the damage caused by cyberbullying. Furthermore, it will serve as a lesson to the abusers of the internet on the consequences of their actions.
This project will be conducted on the school campus to assist targets of cyberbullying overcome their mental issues through specialized therapy with a professional therapist.
