The purpose of this resource is to provide K-12 Educators with information about Assistive Technology (AT) that they can use for Literacy and Numeracy. Although there are numerous assistive technologies available, the focus here is on digital assistive technologies.

Who We Are

Kyle Pindar

Kyle is a K-8 Educator, specializing in the special education classroom. Bringing purposeful technology into the classroom is his focus while he supports colleagues in his learning network to do the same. Ever in need of evolution, Kyle looks to Assistive Technologies, and new technological ventures to both inspire and support his students.

Outside of the classroom, Kyle enjoys staying active which includes taking his rescue dog for her many walks each day.


Terri-Lynn McLeod

Terri-Lynn is a grade 7-12 Educator, teaching all levels of math and science. Terri-Lynn has always been keen to integrate technology into her classroom. Students often struggle with math, so she seeks out Assistive Technologies to help her students succeed in math and reach their full potentials.

When not at school, Terri-Lynn likes to spend time outside. She also has two rescue dogs who like to go on adventures out in the bushes. She also likes to spend time on the lake and traveling.
