BCI - the good the bad and the unforeseen

These BCI devices are helping people overcome medical condition barriers.  It is restoring dignity through independent control and communication through computer/ machine operations.  

BCIs can improve the mental health of patients by restoring ability.

BCIs have the potential to expand the capabilities of humans.  

A company that that implants an invasive BCI can go out of business.

Human body rejecting foreign devices, physical aging or technological obsolesce of a device. 

Humans with a BCI device could have an asymmetric advantage over those who do not, especially if integrated with AI.  This creates the problem of exponentially widening the disparity gap within humanity.
