This is the first episode for an animated thriller/comedy web series about a streamer and cameraman duo whose souls are linked via a spell. They explore decrepit buildings and face terrifying supernatural entities all in the name of Internet fame, but whether their circumstances are a blessing or a curse and what to do about them is something the two can’t seem to agree on.

This is the first chapter of a novel I've begun writing called Smokey Eyes. The story follows two roommates who are undergraduate students in their senior year of college. Avon is a cold, cynical premed student, and Mal is a bubbly (if a bit ditzy) childcare major. One fateful day, one murder, one... impromptu adoption? the two find themselves in the predicament of getting away with homicide while simultaneously taking care of a young, abandonded boy.

The story is intended to be dark overall, but has small moments of humor and warmth in a narrative about dysfunctional relationships and sacrifice.
