Jingyuan Shen is a Ph.D. student in the School of Building Construction at Georgia Tech, focusing on Smart Built Environments, Human–Computer Interaction, and Digital Twins, with a minor in Computer Vision. She holds a Master’s in Construction Management from the University of Florida and an M.S. in Urban Environment and Planning from École Centrale de Nantes (France), along with dual bachelor’s degrees in Architectural Environment & Energy Engineering and Marketing. Her research centers on digital twins for resilient and sustainable built environments across building-to-urban scales, integrating AI-driven systems design, human behavior, and interactive analytics dashboards for decision support. In parallel, she works on immersive technologies for sustainability education in both K–12 and higher-education contexts.

Faraz Khojasteh Far is a PhD student in Building Construction at Georgia Tech with prior training in architecture. He earned his Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. His research focuses on construction education and workforce development, with particular interest in human–technology and multimodal interaction, and the use of large language models and conversational agents to support learning, safety communication, and decision-making across educational and professional construction contexts. He also explores how reality capture data and immersive visualization environments can be integrated with AI-driven systems to create more realistic and interactive training and collaboration experiences.
