Marggie Weekley is a Texas-based artist working primarily in acrylic, with additional work in watercolor and oil. Her colorful, expressive paintings explore light, color, and the beauty found in everyday subjects—from flowers and still lifes to landscapes and unexpected moments in nature. Marggie’s approach emphasizes visible brushwork, strong color, and a sense of spontaneity rather than photorealistic detail. Her work is shaped by an ongoing interest in how light and color can transform familiar subjects.

Marggie’s connection to art began in childhood, watching her grandmother Adelia, a Mexican painter, at work. She began painting herself with oils and oil pastels in high school, but ultimately pursued a different professional path, earning a Master of Science in Accounting and building a career in public accounting, where she earned her CPA license. Years later, Marggie returned to painting and eventually established Estudio Adelias as both her working studio and a space for art in her local community.
