If you want a versatile, high-hardness aluminum mounting system to organize tools and gear across various vehicles, choose Estink Truck Bed Molle; if you need a specific plastic finishing detail to close a 1/4-inch gap on a third-generation Toyota Tacoma bed bar, choose splash n color SplashNColor 4. These two products serve fundamentally different purposes in the truck accessory market, and confusing them is a mistake that leads to wasted effort and money. One is a structural storage solution designed for utility, while the other is a cosmetic trim piece intended to complete an existing installation. For senior drivers who value clear visibility, easy access, and straightforward functionality without unnecessary complexity, understanding this distinction is the first step toward a successful purchase.
• Estink Truck Bed Molle: Its greatest strength is transforming unused vehicle space into a secure, organized station using durable aluminum; its trade-off is that it requires compatible L-rails and specific mounting points to function. This pick is for owners of trucks, SUVs, or RVs who need flexible tool storage.
• splash n color SplashNColor 4: Its biggest advantage is solving a specific aesthetic issue by filling the visible 1/4-inch gap between a bed bar end and the side rail; its limitation is that it only fits third-generation Toyota Tacomas and does not include any hardware. This pick is for Tacoma owners who have installed a bed bar and want a finished look.
• The decision ultimately hinges on whether you need to store items or simply finish the look of your current setup.
The Estink Truck Bed Molle Panel is engineered for those who treat their vehicle cargo area as a functional workspace rather than just a place to toss things. Constructed from lightweight yet high-hardness aluminum, this panel offers a robust platform for organizing equipment. The sandblasted oxidation finish does more than just look clean; it provides lasting resistance to daily wear and tear, which is crucial for anyone loading heavy tools or camping gear repeatedly. The design features finely smoothed edges, ensuring that handling the panel during installation or removal is safe and comfortable, a detail that often gets overlooked but matters significantly when working with metal components in a truck bed.
What makes this product stand out is its versatility through the MOLLE hole pattern. These evenly arranged holes allow you to attach compatible hooks, mounts, and accessories that accommodate tools and essentials in various shapes and sizes. Whether you are securing a flashlight for night work, hanging a small shovel, or keeping travel essentials visible and accessible, the panel adapts to your needs. The integrated locking mechanism ensures the panel stays firmly attached to compatible roof or side L tracks during vehicle use, preventing shifting or rattling while driving, yet it remains simple enough to remove quickly if you need to change your cargo configuration.

This product is ideal for the owner of a pickup truck, camper, trailer, or RV who wants to maximize limited interior or cargo space. If you frequently find yourself searching for tools scattered around the bed or struggling to keep gear from sliding during transit, this organizer is a practical solution. However, it is not for everyone. If your vehicle lacks the necessary L-rail compatibility or if you are looking for a simple cosmetic touch-up rather than a storage upgrade, this might be overkill. It requires a bit of planning to integrate into your existing setup, but once installed, it turns a chaotic space into a tidy gear station.
In stark contrast to the modular storage approach of the Estink panel, the splash n color SplashNColor 4 is a highly specialized component designed for one specific visual problem. This 4-pack of black plastic spacers is made exclusively for the third-generation Toyota Tacoma. Its primary function is to fill the 1/4-inch gap that often appears between the end of a truck bed bar and the side rail. Without this spacer, that empty space can make the entire installation look unfinished, creating a visible break where the bar meets the adjoining rail. By occupying this open space, the spacer gives the junction a complete appearance, making the setup look professional and intentional.
The design is straightforward: these are plastic finishing parts meant to sit exactly where the opening interrupts the installation. They do not hold weight, store tools, or provide structural support. Their job is purely aesthetic—to hide the gap so it no longer stands out when you walk up to your truck. However, buyers must be aware that mounting hardware is not included. You must supply your own screws or fasteners to secure these spacers in place. This means the product is a finishing detail that relies on your existing installation process or additional purchases for mounting materials.
This product is strictly for owners of third-generation Toyota Tacomas who have already installed a bed bar and are unhappy with the exposed gap at the ends. It is not a universal fit for other trucks or even other generations of the Tacoma. If you are looking for a way to organize your bed, add lighting, or create a new storage surface, this item will not help you. It is a niche solution for a very specific visual flaw. For senior drivers who appreciate a clean, uncluttered look and want to avoid the frustration of an unfinished appearance, this small part can make a big difference in the overall satisfaction of their truck bed setup.

The aluminum build quality suggests longevity, and the flexibility of the MOLLE system means it grows with your needs. For senior drivers who want to minimize clutter and maximize ease of access to essential items, the Estink Truck Bed Molle is the superior investment.
