This is the startup screen for the app. It holds an alphabetically sorted list of all your clients.
The icons along the top bar are as follows.
Magnifying glass - Opens a search text bar for searching the client list. The search results will be update as you type. Pressing the x button will first clear the search box, then the second press will close search bar.
List icon - Here you will be taken to the catalogue list screen, which is where you can enter and edit the list of items for the catalogue.
Settings icon - The screen this icon will take you to contains all the default settings for the app.
The + button in the bottom right of the screen will you add a new client.
When there are clients shown in the list selecting one will take you to the clients details screen.
This screen contains the information for the selected client, and a list of all the jobs that have been created for it.

List icon - Here you will be taken to the catalogue list screen, which is where you can enter and edit the list of items for the catalogue.
Upload icon - Once the client details have been entered as required, selecting this button will open your devices contact entry screen and allow you to further edit the details, then save the client details as a new contact on the device.
Download icon - This essentially does the opposite to the previous icon. It lets you select a contact from your devices contact list. This option does require you to grant permission to access contacts on your device. The app will still work if you deny this permission, it will only mean you have to enter the client details manually.
The client's name is a required field, nothing can be saved if this field is empty.
If an address has been included then pressing the location icon will give you the option to select a navigation app installed on your device, e.g. Google Maps.
With a valid phone number entered the call icon will work. If you accept the permission for the app to directly make calls, then the app will dial the number immediately. If you don't allow the permission, then the number will be sent to your devices phone dialler app for you to start the call.
Selecting the email icon with a valid email entered will give you the option of choosing an email app already on your device and give it the clients email address.
The job list contains the jobs that have been created for this client. Next to the title is the search icon that allows searching of this list. Selecting it will open a search bar at the bottom of the screen, the results will be shown in the list as you type. Pressing the x icon will both clear and close the search bar.
Selecting a job in the list will open the job details screen.
This screen displays the details of the job and a list of the items in it.

Download icon - This opens up the item catalogue screen, but in a mode that allows you to select one or more items for the job.
More icon - Only visible after an item with a total greater the zero has been added to the job. This icon will give you the chance to select either the quotation screen, or invoice screen.
The title is a required field, usually something like a location or address, but only a single line.
The details can hold much more information, it is also the details that can be shown in a quote or invoice.
Total is the sum of all the totals in the item list.
The items list is where the items entered for the job are shown. Normally it is sorted alphabetically order but selecting the 3 bars icon will change this to ascending total value order. This can be handy to check that all items have a total value greater than zero.
Each item in the list is displayed as a card. Each card shows the item title, total value, description, cost per unit and finally quantity. Once a job has been invoiced all the items become view only.
Selecting an item from the list will open item details screen.
The item screen shows information about a job item.
Code is a required field, it could be a short description or actual code. Single line only.
Details field is able to hold more information, it could also be shown on quotations and invoices.
Cost per unit is as it appears, the price per unit of measure for this item.
Qty is where you manually enter the quantity for this item.
Total is calculated from qty x cost/unit.
If the job has been invoiced then these values are read only.
This screen lists the items in your catalogue.
The only icon on the top bar opens the search bar. The list will be updated as you type, first press of x will clear the search field, second will close it.

+ icon on the bottom right will allow you to create a new item.
catalogue item screen allows you to enter, or view, the details of catalogue items.
The catalogue selection screen allows you select one or more items from the catalogue for your job.

Selecting an item the first time will mark it for inclusion, selecting it a second time will deselect it.
Pressing the back button on the top bar will insert all selected items into your job, pressing the system back button will cancel the selections.
The defaults screen holds all the settings for the app.
Company details will appear at the top of all quotes and invoices.
All invoice and quote references are a minimum of a 3digit number with a prefix. Here you set the prefix for both quotes and invoices. For example INV001.
Both the default invoice and quote terms can be set on this screen.
The tax rate is set in this screen as well as to whether or not the prices for all items include tax or not.
The next two options let you choose to show the job information, either from the details block, or the job title block. Or include the items information from the item code, or item details block. Either both, or one, can be shown on quotes and invoices at the same time.
At the bottom of quotes is a location for the clients to accept the quote as sent to them, the quote accept block appears beside this. The text shown here is a general cover all, and can be altered to suit your needs.
At the bottom of a quote is a quality guarantee block. Again the included text acts a general cover all and can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Back database allows you to do just that, but it does require permission to access the file system on your device. It doesn't back up the PDF's for quotes and invoices, they are regenerated as required from the database.
Restore database let you load a database backup back into the app.
Backup preferences allows you backup all the preferences on this screen into the devices file system, with permission.
Restore preferences reload the preferences from a file stored on your device.
Privacy policy is the web link to this apps privacy policy.
This screen enables creation, editing and viewing of quotes related to a job.
The job title field shows the currently selected job title.
Below the title is a list of any quotes generated so far, and the create button that lets you generate new quotes.
When editing or creating a quote you have the option to alter the prefix for this quote. The terms and date of creation can also be altered, which the expiration date will be calculated from. It is also possible to alter what is shown from the defaults.

The payments are shown in a numbered list, showing the amount and date.
Selecting the Add button bring up the fields required for a payment. The top field shows the amount still outstanding. The next is the date of this payment, followed by the amount.
When a payment is added to the invoice a new invoice is generated, with the invoice number being appended by the payment number. The payments of the invoice will reflect total payments to date.
Be aware this app is not, nor a substitute for, an accounting package.
