MY BLOG

I truly believe a crucial part of Conservation Biology is engaging people. Thus, since 2017 I write a blog in which I try to 'translate' what working as a researcher means and why this is an important profession in which is worthy to trust and invest.

ORGANIZATION OF SCIENCE COMMUNICATION EVENTS

Pint of Science is a simultaneous event that transport scientists to pubs to talk about their latest research in more than 20 countries around the world. In 2019, I was part of the team of event managers of this event in Uppsala (Sweden).

During my time in Ljubljana (Slovenia) in 2017-2018 , I actively took part of this project I'd really like to export to other cities! a group of young scientists sharing their passion for communicating science organizing informal talks to share knowledge in local coffee shops. Many different disciplines are represented (biology, maths, physics, cognitive science, political science, etc.) to show everybody the importance of research and how fun can it be! Welcome to 'Science Bites' Slovenia!
