Eirini Stergiou

Welcome to my website

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics (2020) and a Master’s degree (2016) in Applied Economics and Data Analysis from the Department of Economics at the University of Patras and a (4-year) bachelor's degree in Business Administration (2015) from the Department of Business Administration at the University of Patras. I have also been involved as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in a variety of European and national research programs at the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics and the Department of Economics (University of Patras, Greece). Currently, I am an Assistant Professor in Business Economics at the Hellenic Open University, Greece.

My main area of research focuses on bussiness strategy and applied econometrics with a deeper emphasis on energy and environmenetal economics and economics of sustainable development.
