Safety Rules

We will not encourage our members to use oil paint, and it won’t be provided by the club. However, if people decide to paint with oil, they will need:

• To properly recycle the solvent.

• To ensure good ventilation: this is already the case with the ceramic room,

•  Members will be instructed in the correct use of equipment: easels need to be folded/unfolded – limited hazard but its usage will be explained.

Note: new solvents such as Gamsol are not smelly/harmful.
