Esteban García-Miralles

I am a Senior Economist at the Bank of Spain, DG Economics and Research. My research interests are in public finance and labor economics. I study how public policies interact with household behavior in areas such as retirement, savings, taxation, and health. Most of my work draws on administrative data, quasi-experimental designs and microsimulation.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Copenhagen, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
