Funding

ESTC2019

Funding (ASL)

Student members of the Association for Symbolic Logic (ASL) may apply for travel support at ASL. Note that such applications have to be submitted at least 3 months prior to the meeting. For precise instructions on how to apply for ASL support please see http://www.aslonline.org/studenttravelawards.html.

Students interested in attending both the Advanced Class and the Seventh European Set Theory Conference can apply for funding at ASL for both of the meetings (as a single trip), however in addition to travel, ASL would only support lodging for one of the two meetings.

Funding (NSF)

The National Science Foundation of the United States of America offers a generous support to us-citizens, working in the USA who are:

  • POSTDOCS,
  • graduate students, or
  • researchers who do not currently hold an NSF grant

If interested please submit a short cv and a reference letter (for postdocs and graduate students only) to <estc2019.logic@univie.ac.at>. Decisions will be taken on rolling bases and priority will be given to early applications.

Further Funding

We can offer a small number of travel grants to early career researchers. If you would like to apply for such a grant, please submit your cv and a reference letter to estc2019.logic@univie.ac.at by May 15th, 2019.
