About the conference

The aim of the Young Set Theory workshops is to bring together young researchers working in set theory and give them the opportunity to learn from each other, as well as from leading experts in a friendly environment. A long-term objective of the workshops is to create and maintain a network of early career and senior researchers working in the field, establish contacts and help disseminate knowledge in the field.

Past meetings:

Young Set Theory 2018 (Lausanne) Young Set Theory 2017 (Edinburgh) Young Set Theory 2016 (Copenhagen) Young Set Theory 2015 (Jerusalem) Young Set Theory 2014 (Będlewo) Young Set Theory 2013 (Oropa) Young Set Theory 2012 (Marseille) Young Set Theory 2011 (Königswinter) Young Set Theory 2010 (Raach) Young Set Theory 2009 (Bellaterra) Young Set Theory 2008 (Bonn)

In 2019, we titled the YST workshop Advanced Class given the exceptional line-up of speakers. The workshop will take place in the city of Vienna (Austria) at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Vienna. There will be twelve tutorial lectures, each of length 90 minutes, given by experts in different areas of set theory. Further highlights include four post-doctoral research talks, a poster session and discussions sessions.
