Privacy Policy EssentialTools
Last updated: 10 October 2026
EssentialTools -All in One Kit (package com.essential.tools) is developed by Habib. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information, and what the advertising network it uses collects.
The short version
The app itself keeps nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-up, and no analytics of its own.
Everything you type stays in the app's private storage on your device and is never uploaded.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK collects the data described under Advertising below, and that is the only data that leaves your device.
What stays on your device
Some tools save what you type so it is still there the next time you open them:
Scratchpad — the note you write
Checklist — your tasks
Habit Counter — your counters
Favourites, recent tools and theme choice
Currency rates — the most recent exchange-rate table, cached so the converter works offline
All of this is written to the app's private storage on your device. It is never sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Network use
Two tools, and only these two, use the internet for their own work. Both say so on screen before you use them:
Currency contacts open.er-api.com to fetch the public exchange-rate table. Nothing about you is sent.
Speed Test contacts speed.cloudflare.com to download a block of test data and measure your connection. Nothing about you is sent.
Neither request includes any identifier, account, or content from the app. Those services will see your IP address, as any website would, and their own policies apply to that: ExchangeRate-API and Cloudflare.
Every other tool works with no connection at all.
Advertising
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC).
What is collected. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the app collects information from your device: the advertising ID, IP address, device make, model and operating-system version, the app version, and how you interact with the ads shown. Google uses this to serve ads, measure their performance and — where you have consented — personalise them.
Who receives it. This data is sent to Google and may be shared with Google's advertising partners. The app's developer does not receive or store it. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from About → Privacy options inside the app.
Your choices, anywhere. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, in Android Settings → Google → Ads. The SDK honours that setting.
Photos, files and PDFs
The image and PDF tools use Android's own system picker. The app receives only the one file you choose, uses it to do the job you asked for, and never uploads it. Saving goes through Android's file picker, so you choose where the result is written. The app has no storage permission and cannot see your other files.
Permissions
The app declares four permissions. All four are "normal" permissions, which Android grants at install without ever showing you a prompt:
Vibrate — timer alerts and the bubble level
Internet and Network state — the two network tools above, and ads
Advertising ID (AD_ID) — added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, see Advertising
There are no runtime permissions. In particular, the app does not request camera, location, contacts, microphone or storage access. The flashlight works through Android's torch control, which needs no camera permission.
Children
The app is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the advertising SDK runs with its standard settings rather than child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has used the app and data about them was collected, contact us at the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address and the date at the top will change.
