Our essential oils are made through a traditional steam distillation process, designed to extract pure plant essences without the use of chemicals or solvents.
We begin by sourcing fresh or carefully dried plant material. Harvesting is done at peak potency—usually early in the day—to ensure maximum oil content. All botanicals are organic or wildcrafted, and free from pesticides or synthetic treatments.
The plant material is cleaned, lightly crushed or chopped, and loosely packed into the steam chamber. This step allows the natural oils to be more easily released during distillation.
Distilled water is heated beneath the chamber to create steam. As the steam rises through the plant material, it captures the essential oils. This vapor then travels through a condenser, where it cools and returns to a liquid state.
The resulting liquid—composed of both essential oil and hydrosol—is collected in a receiving flask. Since oil and water naturally separate, the essential oil is carefully extracted and bottled. It is stored in dark glass containers to protect it from light and oxidation.
The remaining aromatic water, known as hydrosol, is also retained. It contains gentle, water-soluble plant compounds and is used in toners, sprays, and other botanical products.
Each batch is labeled, logged, and tested for purity and aroma. No additives, dilutions, or preservatives are used—just pure, plant-based oil distilled by hand in small batches.
