Is there a fee for a visit?
Yes. There is a service fee for any visit, including equipment checks or troubleshooting, even if no parts are replaced. We charge an hourly fee for both residential and commercial work. Please refer to the Pricing tab for current hourly rates.
What warranty do we give?
Our company provides a one-year labor warranty on installations, which covers labor only and does not include parts. Manufacturers offer a 10-year equipment warranty when the product is registered. We can assist with the registration process and provide you with the necessary documentation.
What type of payment do we accept?
We accept checks, cash, and card payments. We also do not charge a processing fee for card payment.
Can you give me a price without an in-home consultation?Â
No. We are unable to provide an accurate price without inspecting your equipment in person. An in-home consultation allows us to properly evaluate the condition of your existing system, verify sizing requirements, and understand the scope of work needed. This ensures you receive an accurate quote with no surprises.
Do I need a permit for installations or replacements?
Yes. As a licensed HVAC company, we are required to obtain permits for the installation or replacement of HVAC systems. This process also protects you as the customer by ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with local codes, rules, and regulations.
Do I need to replace my ductwork?
If you are upgrading from evaporative cooling to refrigerated air, replacing the ductwork is recommended for best performance. Evaporative ductwork is not properly sized for refrigerated systems and can reduce efficiency. However, if your existing ductwork is in good condition and not rusted or damaged, we can install the new system without replacing it. Please note that using existing ductwork may result in reduced efficiency and performance.
