Objectives of ESPA

· To provide respectable, prominent platform to contractors and to safeguard their interests.

· One of the objectives is Advocacy & Representation for various issues connected with policy, GST, regulations, legislation to

State/Central Government, PSUs such as NTPC , PGCIL, etc… and Central /State/ Private Utilities i.e. Generation , Transmission , Distribution companies .

· To study, analyze in depth the issue faced by contractors in the field of policy, taxes, GST, Regulations, Business promotion and follow up their solutions with appropriate authorities.

· To provide platform to contractors for interaction within group and with State/Central Government

· To safeguard the interests of these entrepreneurs commonly known as Electrical Contractor

· To provide support services to Members in the areas of technical matters, employment, health and safety, contracts, energy solutions and skills.

· To work with regulatory bodies, government and other authorities to energies and develop the sector.

· To enter into partnership, MOUs, to help, support and promote the business and capabilities of Members

· To organize the events, seminars, conferences, workshops for the member contractors.

· To organize skill development for the members and other stakeholders

· To undertake all such activities that may be necessary for protection, development of the engineering services and contractors engaged therein.

· To recognize and institute the awards for excellence in the engineering services for contractors and other stakeholders

· To work out schemes for safety, development of the workers engaged in providing engineering services.

· To produce and work and undertake training programs, tools, publications and promotional material for contractors.
