Scope and Topics of Interest
The transport sector is a key pillar of global trade, commerce and mobility. However, the heavy dependence on fossil fuels has made it a major (nearly 25%) contributor to global energy-related greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Therefore, decarbonizing the transport sector is a key priority for nations worldwide, while ensuring that the quality of life, work and business are not impacted. The implications of energy for transitioning to a low-carbon transport/mobility system are manifold.
ESM 2024 invites student (UG/PG/PhD) and Postdoctoral researchers to present their ideas and preliminary work on the complex interplay of the energy, storage, and transportation/mobility systems. We solicit abstract submissions (that cover work in progress, published work, or work under review) for consideration for oral/poster presentation.
