During the show, the guest and host discuss the former’s life, while explaining the reasons why they decided on those particular tracks, book and item. The guests tend to include world-class celebrities from the fields of culture, literature, Science, entertainment…Anyone who’s anyone in the English-speaking world has been on Desert Island Discs (actors, singers, politicians, writers, even royalty).
David Tennant Does a Podcast with…Scottish actor David Tennant interviews fellow actors (mostly friends of his), including Olivia Colman, Michael Sheen, Jodie Whittaker, and Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), as well as writers such as Neil Gaiman. Because they tend to be on extremely friendly terms, the conversation is quite informal, but because many of them are classically-trained actors, they frequently use extremely cultured vocabulary (lots of notes to be taken!).
How to Fail: Weekly podcast with heartfelt interviews on learning from failure. The host asks guests – actors, authors, athletes, politicians – to talk about three high-profile moments in their lives where things just went wrong.
