The first phase of the course will be content based, exploring the subject of ESD and Course Activated Social Learning. A mid-term course design course will be held in November, providing participants with the knowledge and skills to design their own courses in Phase two. Phase two will include a more collaborative, generative process where the participants, working together with their colleagues and mentors, will design a course to be implemented by their organisation.
Each participant will also be paired with an ESD mentor who will be available to assist them with the design of their ESD course. The mentors can be called upon to assist with networking, providing experiential knowledge and act as a sounding board for participants.
The focus of this programme is on co-designing a course which participants can then implement through their organisation. Participants require support from their current organisation as a pre-requiset for the course.
