The event takes place online. The Zoom link will be sent to registered participants in due course.

(If you've registered but haven't received the Zoom link by 22nd Feb, please check your Spam folder.)

Since close to 500 people registered for the event, we thought a pre-set Zoom etiquette will be helpful, as guidelines for how we'll conduct the event:

  • You are free to join as many or as few sessions as you wish, on either of the 3 days. For the sake of respecting everyone's schedules, we aim for all sessions to start punctually.

  • Buffer time for people to gather will be allocated prior to the starting times indicated in the programme. Therefore, please join the Zoom channel a few minutes early, to avoid missing out on content.

  • Q&As will be handled as follows:

    • Audience members can ask questions in the Chat. If more questions are asked than would be time to cover, moderators will select the questions (and possibly combine several into one).

    • Please type "[video]" at the end your question if you wish to pose the question yourself, using a microphone and webcam. If your question is selected, you will be named by the moderator, and will then be able to unmute (for questions with "[video]" appended), or we will read your question for you (otherwise).

    • To have your questions considered during Q&As, please ensure you have your full (and real) name in your Zoom account.

For any technical problems prior to or during the meeting, please write to EscopMusicCognition@gmail.com
