David had been developing the Earth-Space Conservation Demonstration Center (ESCDC) concept over the past few years passed away suddenly this weekend.
He was a visionary NASA systems engineer focused on safety, compliance and advanced technology. He led and advocated for the preservation of the International Space Station and was a passionate supporter the National Space Society mission and vision.
He will be missed greatly by his friends and family, and the many students and entrepreneurs he mentored.
Earth-Space Conservation Demonstration Center (ESCDC) has been developing the concept over the last few years and has been selected for the upcoming "World's Biggest Analog" (WBA) mission, scheduled for Oct 13th - 26th, 2025.
ESCDC is now on the WBA WBA Habitat Map! Equally, we have also been invited to publish research in the Analog Astronaut Research Journal.
