This Privacy Policy explains how Escape Route: Hazard Hunt (the “App”) handles information. The App is developed and published by ASHRB PROPERTIES LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17458535).
We built the App to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, receive, or store any personal information about you through the App.
No account, sign-up, or login is required.
The App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
The App requests no Android device permissions.
The App works fully offline and contains no internet-connected code.
The App contains no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Your game progress and settings are saved only on your device.
We do not collect any personal information through the App.
The App does not access or collect:
your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details;
your location;
contacts, photos, files, camera, or microphone;
device identifiers or advertising IDs;
usage statistics, gameplay analytics, or crash reports.
To let you continue playing where you left off, the App saves a small amount of game data locally on your device. This includes:
completed scenes and buildings;
stars earned and best times;
hazards discovered in the Hazard Library;
hints remaining;
your settings (such as game mode, sound, haptics, theme, and reduce-motion preferences);
whether the “Rate Us” prompt has already been shown.
This information:
is stored in the App’s private storage on your device;
is never sent to us or to anyone else;
cannot be accessed by us;
does not identify you personally.
Game data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete it at any time by:
using Settings → Reset progress in the App, which removes your saved progress; or
uninstalling the App, which removes all data stored by the App from your device.
The App does not use Android’s backup feature, so your game data is not copied to cloud backups.
Because we never receive your game data, we cannot view, recover, or restore it for you.
The App does not connect to the internet and does not transmit any data from your device. It contains no networking code, no advertising services, no analytics, and no crash-reporting tools.
The App does not include or integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect or share data.
The App can, only when you choose to, open other apps already installed on your device:
Rate Us: tapping “Rate on Google Play” opens the App’s page in the Google Play Store app, or in your web browser if the Play Store app is not available. Your use of Google Play is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.
Contact Us: tapping “Send Email” opens your email app with a new message addressed to us (see section 7).
The App passes no personal information to these apps. Once you leave the App, the privacy practices of those apps and services apply.
The App can also copy our email address to your device’s clipboard when you tap “Copy email”. Only our email address is copied.
If you choose to email us using “Send Email” in the App, your email app opens a draft message. To help us answer support questions, the draft is pre-filled with:
the App version;
your Android version;
your device model.
You can review, edit, or delete this information before sending, and nothing is sent unless you choose to send the email yourself.
If you email us, we will receive your email address, your message, and any information you include. We use this only to read and reply to your message and to help resolve any issue you raise. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell or share it. We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to deal with your enquiry, and you may ask us to delete it at any time.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any personal information. The App collects no personal information to share.
Your game data stays on your device in the App’s private storage, which Android isolates from other apps. Because the App transmits no data, no data from the App is sent over the internet.
Please keep your device secure (for example, with a screen lock and up-to-date software), as the protection of locally stored data also depends on your device’s security.
The App is a general-audience puzzle game. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
The App:
contains no ads;
has no in-app purchases;
has no chat or social features;
does not ask users for personal details.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, please contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, including under the UK GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. The App itself does not send us any personal data, so the only personal information we could hold is what you choose to send us by email. To exercise your rights regarding that information, contact us using the details below.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Escape Route: Hazard Hunt is for general education and entertainment only. It is not a fire risk assessment, professional safety advice, or legal guidance.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App’s features change. Any changes will be published at this location, and the updated version will also be included in the App, with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
