Every event registration, every dollar you fundraise, helps Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit!
RMHC provides a home away from home for families while their child is hospitalized. The pandemic has been difficult for everyone, but especially for families with a hospitalized child. For a sick kid, there's nothing better than the comfort of having Mom and Dad at their side. For Mom and Dad, there is comfort, support, and a place to call home when they have to travel for their critically ill or injured child to receive medical care.

Directions to Belle Isle Casino - Parking
Parking on Belle Isle is in the big lot next to the race Start/Finish at the Belle Isle Casino.
When you come on the island, veer right at the roundabout.
Turn left at the first road/turn on your left (Sunset Way).
You will see the Casino and big parking lot right in front of you as you turn, you can't miss it.
Packet Pick Up
Shirt and Number pick up: Race Day, Saturday July 18, 2026 from 6:30am - 8:00am at the Belle Isle Casino, next to Race Start. You may purchase an extra shirt for $15.
PLEASE NOTE: To help insure you will get an Accurate Finish Time please pin race number horizontally on the OUTSIDE of any jacket or clothing on the FRONT, as close to the waist as possible. Water carriers or gel packs near the number can also affect the read. Wearing the number visibly on the front will insure a finish time.
Race Perks
Medals: to all finishers in the 5k & 10k!
Shirts: T-Shirts to all who register. You may purchase an extra shirt for $15.
Awards: Top female and male, 5K and 10K.
Kids Fun Run: t-shirts and trophies/medals to all finishers!

We are now offering a group/team discount of $5 off, per person.
5K/10K - $60
2 Mile - $45

Use the online registration link, mail in registration, or race day late registration from 6:30am - 8:00am at the Belle Isle Casino.
Donations may also be made directly to the Ronald McDonald House of Southeast Michigan. Checks should be made out to RMHC DETROIT and mailed to 4707 St Antoine, #2/200, Detroit, MI 48201; Attn: Kelly Klemmer. Please add "Escape to Belle Isle" in the memo section of your check. Donations are tax deductible and will be recognized with a letter from the Ronald McDonald House Organization.
Donations and proceeds will help in funding the new housing and rooms for the House, and all services provided to families that use the Ronald McDonald House in times of need. For more information, please visit https://www.rmhc-detroit.org.

Walkers/Strollers/Dogs Welcome!
1.5 Hour time limit for 5K/10K events.
We need good Volunteers ~ No experience necessary!
Come help us out and we will hook you up with a cool T-shirt and a great morning of fun! Volunteer commitment is from 7am to 10:30am --- early, but not long! If you would like to volunteer some of your time to this event, please contact Kelly Klemmer @ kklemmer@rmhc-detroit.org.
