Lu is heading up our osmoregulatory and acid-base physiology research. His thesis will explore the interaction between acid excretion and osmoregulation across salinity gradients using the sheepshead minnow.
Kerri has done a little bit of everything in the lab, including oil toxicology, hypoxia, respiratory plasticity, mitochondrial performance and even some osmoregulation. Now Kerri is heading up our work on the effects of the tire wear particle associated 6PPD-quinone on estuarine fishes of the Texas coast.
