About Us
The Essenzia Research Wing (ERW) is an initiative to promote research-oriented learning and foster fresh economic thought; so that knowledge can be experienced beyond the classroom.
ERW promotes and facilitates research initiatives, training and academic writing for undergraduate students on all issues encompassing economics and statistics. We aspire to build a dynamic and interactive community of authors by providing a framework in which disciplines can convene and flourish. The ERW is dedicated to the highest academic standards guaranteed by peer review and critical scrutiny of research output.
Our Vision
ERW aims to create concrete foundations for development of economic and statistical research. We provide funding to research projects carried out by the faculties with a team of undergraduate students. Participants get access to e-resources such as journals, publications and datasets subscribed by the college library. Students are provided with opportunity to refine their research abilities by participating in webinars, online and offline workshops, lectures and seminars. All research outcomes stand a chance to be published as working paper of ERW and on the ERW’s webpage.
The research wing also aims to facilitate training and specialisation of faculties, scholars and professionals. To this end, the wing is actively involved in organising time bound faculty development programmes, conferences and special workshops on all topics related to economic and statistics.
