Introduction
The primary duties of police bicycle units include crime prevention, community engagement, and traffic enforcement. We patrol public spaces and work to deter criminal activity by maintaining a visible presence and responding quickly to incidents in urban environments. Bicycle officers often have a heightened awareness of their surroundings, which can help them identify suspicious behavior and potential threats to public safety.
