What is my thesis about?

This dissertation consists of three chapters in which the experimental methodology is used to analyze and give answers to questions regarding different topics.

First, the rationality of herding behaviour in crowdfunding markets is analyzed.

Second, we study how social preferences are affected in the presence of uncertainty in decision making.

Finally, the (possible) difference of beliefs between women or men about their own performance in relation to others (overplacement), differentiated by known and unknown tasks.
