Short bio
I am currently an Associate Professor (Profesor Permanente Laboral) of Applied Economics in the Department of Economic Structure and Development Economics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where I previously served as an Assistant Professor (2019–2024). Additionally, I teach at Syracuse University’s Madrid Campus.
I maintain active affiliations with the Research Group in Economics and Management of Innovation (UAM-InEGI), where I serve as coordinator of the research group since November 2024 and Instituto de Economía International (Universidad Jaume I). In November 2022, I received accreditation as Profesor Titular de Universidad (equivalent to Senior Lecturer) from the Spanish National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA). Since March 2023, I have been serving as Senior Editor for the International Trade Section at the Journal of Applied Economics.
