Lucian had quite the journey before finding his forever home with me. His first owner had to move to a senior facility and, sadly, had to surrender all her pets. This was a mixed bag for Lucian—no more dogs to deal with, but he was separated from his beloved cat sister.
His second owner returned him to the Cleveland APL not long after adopting him. My guess is that they weren't quite ready for a cat as they thought. With his long coat, Lucian needs regular grooming. Plus, he's a master at opening doors and cabinets, so some cat-proofing is a must. But beyond that, he's not a needy cat at all—he just loves snuggling in my bed and getting good belly rubs. Oh, and I almost forgot—he loves munching on money tree salad!
