Erman Çakıt received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, USA, in 2013. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Gazi University, Türkiye. His research focuses on human factors, ergonomics, and safety, with particular emphasis on applications of machine learning and applied statistics. He has authored over 50 scholarly publications, including journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Industrial Engineering and as an editorial board member for Human-Intelligent Systems Integration (Springer), Augmented Human Research (Springer), the International Journal of Machine Learning and Computing, and Advances in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
