Erin Biggs, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She received her PhD in Epidemiology at Louisiana State University Health Science Center's School of Public Health in New Orleans in December 2021. Her dissertation is titled "The Effect of Neighborhood Characteristics on HIV risk behaviors, HIV testing, and COVID-19 Incidence in Louisiana".
In 2017, she received her Master of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology from LSUHSC SPH. During her MPH, she interned at the New Orleans site for the CDC's National HIV behavioral Surveillance System. Upon her graduation, she was inducted to Delta Omega, a public health honor society. In 2015, she graduated from Louisiana College in Pineville, LA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
