I am an instructor for the Michigan Math and Science Scholars Program, which is a selective pre-college summer experience for high school students at the University of Michigan. I taught "Climbing the Distance Ladder to the Big Bang: How Astronomers Survey the Universe" this past year.

I regularly help carry out physics demonstrations on topics such as electricity/magnetism, density/air pressure, and light for elementary students in the Ann Arbor (and previously, Durham) Public School system. We not only visit local elementary schools for presentations but also host students online for demonstrations.

From 2019-2025, I was a volunteer tutor at Bilingual Tutoring. As a part of the program, I worked with local hispanic students attending either high school or middle school in the Durham area, speaking both Spanish and English. In the six years with the program, I mentored over eighteen students, some of whom have since become first-generation college students.
