September 12, 2026 · Noon–5pm · Frontier Park & Erie County
The Book Crawl is a bookish scavenger hunt built around LitFest. Most of it can be done right at the festival — venture further out if you want to make a day of it.
Pick up a card at our Book Crawl table at Frontier Park during Litfest, or at a participating location.
If you are at Litfest, start right where you are — the library Bookmobile, Werner's Book Bus, Thousand Lives Bookshop, Book Club on Main (pop-up), and Pressed (just across the street). Want to wander further? Other Erie County bookstores and bookish stops are open throughout the day too.
Check Off Squares as you go
Complete bingo squares as you go — buy/check out a classic, find poetry, read for 30 minutes, get a library card, ask for a book recommendation, find a local book, snap a "shelfie," and more.
Donate a Book (optional)
Bring a new or nearly-new children's book to the Book Crawl table at Litfest in Frontier Park to donate to Hooked on Books for Kids.
Turn in Your Card
Drop off your completed bingo card at a participating library or bookstore, or at the Book Crawl table at Litfest for a raffle entry. Check out the raffle rules and possible prizes here.
