⚓ Why Choose Us?
Our homes provide a structured, uplifting environment where residents can focus on their well-being without worrying about unpaid bills or utilities being shut off. With chore divisions and house meetings, we create a supportive community atmosphere.
⚓ Sober Living Committment
Our sober living homes are managed under room license agreements, like hotels, ensuring we can maintain a safe space for all residents. Should issues arise, we work with local shelters to ensure individuals in need are properly supported.
Most individuals with special needs across the country receive an SSI and/or SSDI check of $550 to $1,000 per month. This small amount makes it nearly impossible to live independently, even when sharing a space with someone else. Additionally, bills often get overlooked or go unpaid, which prevents clients from focusing on their primary goal—getting well. Instead, they are left worrying about their electricity being shut off, rent not being paid, or whether their roommate has contributed their share. Our affordable housing offers a solution by creating a stable environment and provides time and space to heal.
Why Choose A Shared Home?
One of the key benefits of living in Erie Housing’s sober living homes is affordability. Residents share costs like rent and utilities, which makes living here much cheaper than living alone. This is a big help for people who might struggle to afford their own place.
Another great thing about these homes is the sense of friendship and community. Living with others who are facing similar challenges creates a strong support network. Residents encourage and help each other, which can make tough times a little easier. Feeling part of a group can also make people feel less isolated and more connected.
Safety is a priority at Erie Housing’s sober living homes. The houses have rules to keep the environment secure and supportive for everyone. These rules include staying sober, which helps maintain a healthy and safe space for all residents.
Sharing a bedroom might be new for some, but it comes with benefits. It helps residents learn to live together peacefully and respect each other's space. For those who once had no home, having a shared room in a safe house is much better than being on the streets. It offers privacy and security that they might not have had before.

Shared Living Communities
At Erie Housing, we take pride in crafting more than mere living spaces; we create communities. Each of our shared homes is meticulously designed to foster connections and camaraderie among residents. Beyond the privacy of your own space, you'll find welcoming common areas perfect for socializing, studying, or relaxing. To maintain harmony and a sense of collective responsibility, our "House Rules" and a structured rotation of household chores are in place, ensuring a living environment that benefits everyone.
