Although not as action packed a last stage, I have been enjoying my summer! The main activity that has been taking up my time is work. I got a job at Wawa and started about a week after CONA! Working hasn't been bad, and you can see what my co-workers and I got up to on a late night shift at Wawa! I think the glove creature's name was Jerry, but he was adorable!

I also went down the shore for a few days with my neighbors, but that is when the school released our schedules. It is always a crazy few hours as everyone tries to find classmates. It was a little solemn though, knowing it would be the last time. Senior Year is dawning and I intend to enjoy every second of it.

Finally Saturday the 13th I volunteered at a glow in the dark tennis event at my local park. I even got a chance to play! As someone with very little experience I did fairly well, and made it to the finals! It was tons of fun. It was through the Aspire Leadership program, which I am very thankful to be apart of. We spread some news about drug abuse awareness and gave out free water ice!

Other things I've been doing:

• Writing College Essays, I'm on my 5th revision of the Common App Essay

• Reading The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway

• Taking my Senior Portraits

• Working with my Principal to help install the new 10-point grading scale

• Learning Disc Golf with my friends!
